Ian Wright believes new Newcastle United signing Alexander Isak could form a brilliant partnership with Callum Wilson.
Speaking on The Kelly & Wrighty Show, Ian Wright brought up Newcastle’s new record signing.
Wright believes Eddie Howe might have a brilliant new forward partnership on his hands with the Swedish forward’s arrival.

The Arsenal legend said: “I think Isak is going to be a fantastic signing and he’ll probably be able to play him off of Callum Wilson.
“You can see exciting times ahead for Newcastle. The way they are spending and buying players, they have not gone in stupidly.”
Wright thinks Isak and Wilson could be a brilliant partnership
Newcastle fans will have to wait several weeks before they can see if Howe will pick the two players together.
Callum Wilson is currently unavailable due to a hamstring issue.
Isak missed Newcastle’s match against Wolves due to a work permit issue, and there are still question marks over whether this has been resolved.

Wilson, who signed for £20m from Bournemouth two seasons ago, is one of Newcastle’s key players.
When fit, Eddie Howe can’t drop him, and the manager will need to work out how the two players work together.
Isak is a quick, direct centre-forward but isn’t the most prolific goal scorer.
His ability to carry the ball could create plenty of chances for Wilson, who is one of the league’s most lethal finishers.

The pair – flanked by Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron – will certainly frighten plenty of defences this season.
Newcastle will be hoping Isak and Wilson are available soon to form the brilliant partnership Wright is so excited about.
The Magpies transfer activity might not be over yet, with one former starter expected to leave soon.
They’re also interested in one more attacking addition, with PSV Eindhoven’s Cody Gakpo on their radar.
