It’s the big one today, as Arsenal take on Manchester City in what could be the biggest game of the season so far.
Mikel Arteta knows today could be a defining moment for his team as they fight to win the Premier League title for the first time since the Arsene Wenger years.
Arteta has been backed heavily in the transfer market over the last few years. And now, sitting top of the table, the time has come for his players to prove themselves.
Of course, going to Man City and winning will send quite the statement.
And speaking about the fixture, former boss Arsene Wenger has had his say on how the game might go.

Arsene Wenger predicts Manchester City v Arsenal
There’s been a number of pundits and former players having their say on the game and title race in general.
Jack Wilshere has had his say, Micah Richards believes the game will decide the title, while Chris Sutton believes City might just deliver when it matters.
However, few opinions will hold as much weight with Arsenal fans as one from Wenger.
And speaking alongside Freddie Ljungberg, Wenger has suggested there is no reason why Arsenal can’t go on to win today and also nab the title.
“I think so yes. The next game will be a bit of a decided because we go to Man City. City is always a difficult team to play but maybe not as dominant as they were last season, at the moment, but they can always come back. They know how to do it, they’ve been there,” Wenger said.
“Arsenal has the capacity but they have to show they can do it now. I hope and I’m convinced that they have learned from last year. Because last year the tension got to them. This year because they have two competitions to go for they might be a bit more relaxed.”
Arsenal can do it
Arsenal are in fine form and look a different side to last season under Arteta.
Today marks a big occasion and a chance for them to lay down a proper marker and show themselves as true contenders.
The injuries to John Stones and Kyle Walker will be a massive boost as well for Arsenal. Make no mistake, those two being out could make the difference for the entire game.
If Arsenal can do it, as Wenger suggests here, then you feel it suddenly becomes their title to lose.
