Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to share what they’ve noticed about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the course of pre-season.
What’s the story?
Well, the 32-year-old hasn’t actually scored a goal during pre-season, although he has impressed fans with his ability in possession.
One fan highlighted how Aubameyang’s link-up play had improved out on the left wing, while his hold-up play was also better.
A number of supporters agreed with this sentiment, with one claiming that the 62-cap Gabon international showed more decisiveness than last term.
Aubameyang scored 15 goals in all competitions last season, in what was one of his most disappointing seasons since joining Arsenal.
That in itself speaks volumes, as a 15-goal campaign would be good for most players.
What should Arsenal do with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang?

At 32, this is probably the last chance Arsenal’s No.14 will get to secure a big move away from the Emirates Stadium.
His stock is still high, and there has been talk that the Gunners are willing to offload their £56m man to make room for new signings.
In our view, if a decent offer arrived, Arsenal should sell.

Yes, he’s the club’s talisman, but just look at what’s around him. 19-year-old Bukayo Saka, 20-year-old Gabriel Martinelli, 21-year-old Emile Smith Rowe.
Arteta is freshening up the squad, and soon, Aubameyang’s age will start to stand out among his younger, energetic teammates.
For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about his efforts in pre-season…
