New West Ham United signing Thilo Kehrer has already been impressed by the club’s fans.
Kehrer spoke to the club’s official website after their 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
The German defender said he was looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere at the London Stadium.
Kehrer said after the Hammers’ away victory: “We heard the fans all game [against Villa].
“We felt that [noise]. They pushed us – it gave us extra energy, and we really needed that today.”

“The atmosphere (at the London Stadium) is really special. I have heard a lot about the fans before, and now I have experienced it: I have to say I love it.”
Kehrer already impressed by West Ham fans
It was an important game for West Ham’s fans to get up for on Sunday.
David Moyes’ side were bottom of the league going into their meeting with Aston Villa.
A second-half Pablo Fornals goal sealed an important win that lifted West Ham out of the relegation zone.

It was Kehrer’s first league win since joining from PSG for £10m.
Kehrer was used as part of a back four and back five against Villa as Moyes adjusted his tactics.
The 25-year-old’s versatility is sure to be very useful for Moyes, as he manages his squad in the league and Europe.

Kehrer will be hoping West Ham’s fans continue to back the team as they look to return to the top half of the table once again.
They welcome Tottenham to the London Stadium tomorrow, where the atmosphere is sure to be electric.
Hammers fans will have even more reason to celebrate, after new signing Lucas Paqueta was confirmed by the club yesterday.
