Micah Richards and Chris Sutton were in complete disagreement when talking about Wolves and Leeds United in the Premier League this season.
Leeds finished 14 points above the Wanderers last term but things have been a lot different this time around. Wolves are already 14 points ahead now and Bruno Lage deserves a lot of credit for the work he has done.
Wolves are almost guaranteed to finish above Leeds this season but Micah Richards is still adamant that he would much rather watch Marcelo Bielsa’s side over the Wanderers.
Sutton, however, is of a completely different opinion and just can’t believe Richards prefers a Leeds side that has not done well this term.
Micah Richards and Chris Sutton disagree over Leeds United and Wolves
Speaking on BBC 5 Live’s Monday Night Club, Sutton said: “I can’t believe you’re sticking up for him on this.
Richards responded: “No, but they’re well balanced and they have a lot of victories. But, if Wolves had the same record and were winning 3, 4 or 5-0, we’d be talking about them a lot more. They would be on the Match of the Day a lot more.
“But, they are middle of the range, because they have great players, they have a great manager but they don’t entertain as much as a Leeds – Leeds, you know what they are.
“Yeah, but… Leeds aren’t going for the top four I’m saying to you, if you ask a fan on the street, who would you rather watch Leeds or Wolves? You watch Leeds because it’s going to be entertainment!”

TBR View:
In terms of pure entertainment, everyone would agree that Leeds United are the more fun team to watch.
Bielsa’s murderball is all-out attack and almost always guarantees goals. Their games are never dull and boring, but at the end of the day, football is all about results and Wolves are the better side with respect to that at the moment.
Lage’s side have been brilliant recently and they are an extremely difficult side to beat. With a bit of luck, they could even sneak into the top five at the end of the season. They will be viewed as the more successful side, not Leeds, even though we’d much rather watch Bielsa’s side as well.
