A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports claiming that the Hoops are growing increasingly confident of signing striker Charlie Wyke on a free transfer.
Wyke is attracting a lot of attention. He goes into the summer off the back of, by far, his best season for Sunderland.

The 28-year-old scored 30 goals in all competitions. And according to The Northern Echo, he is set to be out of contract at the Stadium of Light.
Unsurprisingly, the Black Cats want to keep Wyke. However, Celtic look to be the front-runners for his signature.
The Northern Echo reports that they are confident of signing Wyke. And that has prompted quite a strong reaction on social media.

It looks to be a pivotal window at Parkhead. Ange Postecoglou has arrived. And the club are looking to move themselves back into the title picture.
However, many clearly do not see signing Wyke doing that. Admittedly, his record has been incredibly inconsistent over his career.

And several are desperately hoping that further attacking additions would still be on their way if he did come in.
Some are a little more optimistic. On a free transfer, such a deal carries much less risk.
But there are major concerns…
