How much Chelsea have already earned in 2024/25 UEFA Conference League prize money

Chelsea breezed through the league phrase of the UEFA Conference League.

Enzo Maresca even opted to embark on this stage of the competition without naming Cole Palmer, Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana in his squad – a decision which paid off handsomely as Chelsea won six out of six in the UEFA Conference League league phase.

Such fine form obviously means the Blues have progressed into the Round of 16 automatically – but how much have Chelsea made in UEFA Conference League prize money so far this season thanks to their 100% record? Let’s take a look.

Chelsea make £337,067 for each UEFA Conference League victory as well as qualification fee

While UEFA Champions League sides make £1.8m per win and those in the UEFA Europa League receive £379,201 for every victory, UEFA Conference League teams are given a lot less.

As UEFA revealed in an official document back in March, each win in the UEFA Conference League is worth only £337,067.

Therefore, with six wins out of six for Chelsea, the Blues have banked £2m.

As you can see, there is also a £674,135 prize for making the Round of 16 – so in total, Chelsea have made close to £2.7m in the UEFA Conference League this season.

When are Chelsea back in UEFA Conference League action?

European football resumes for Chelsea in March.

Those who finished between ninth and 24th must fight it out in the play-offs before the Round of 16 begins, with those fixtures commencing on 13th February, so Chelsea have some time to wait until their UEFA Conference League campaign begins again.

That should – at least – give Maresca the chance to focus on recovering ground in the Premier League after a run of just one win in six games, while there is also the FA Cup fourth round clash against Brighton to deal with as well.
