‘Hope it’s not true’: Some Leeds fans react as their ’impressive’ teenage prospect is linked with loan
Leeds United prospect Crysencio Summerville is being linked with a potential loan exit – but some of the club’s fans on Twitter are adamant the youngster shouldn’t leave this summer.
Voetbal International reports that Dutch club SC Cambuur are in discussions with Leeds about a possible loan.
The report states the Whites may grant a temporary exit, which would see him depart Elland Road in search of first-team football.
SC Cambuur, who were promoted to the Eredivisie last season, want to sign the 19-year-old attacker on loan.
The Dutch teenager spent the previous campaign with Leeds’ Under-23s side, which is stacked with so much ability.
If you look at Marcelo Bielsa’s options in wide positions, he’s got some brilliant options. Raphinha, Ian Poveda and Helder Costa are senior options. Also, Jack Harrison has now finally joined on a permanent.
Summerville is a tricky winger that unfortunately may have to wait a while for his first-team shot at Leeds. A loan could be hugely helpful though.
Summerville shouldn’t be disappointed by loan if it happens
A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are not happy with the possibility that their youngster could leave.
He’s certainly caught the eye at youth level and Bielsa is prepared to throw youngsters a chance.
It sounds thoughtful like he may go down the path of a loan.
