Heung-Min Son is one of the most likeable footballers in the Premier League.

By all accounts, Son is one of the nicest people in football, and, at Spurs, he’s always been very popular.

Son and Harry Kane were close friends during their time together at the club, while Son is actually the Godfather to Ben Davies’ child.

Son is also still close friends with a number of players who have left Spurs over the years, and, speaking to Sky Sports, the attacker has now touched on his relationship with Dele Alli.

Heung-Min Son is still close with Dele Alli

Son spoke about his friendship with Dele Alli.

Alli left Tottenham on a free transfer to join Everton back in 2022, but he’s still very close with Son.

Son says he still considers Alli one of his best mates, noting that they’re still in touch with the England international after his move to Como.

“One of my best mates I would say. When I first came to Spurs he was very kind, he helped me settle in well and I still have contact with him. He’s doing ok, he’s just going to Italy, and he made some jokes with me saying that he was talking Italian, he was speaking Italian. What a fantastic guy,” Son said.

Son and Alli are close friends, and their great relationship also shined through on the pitch.

Indeed, while Kane and Son were the iconic partnership at Spurs over the years, Alli and Son also had a brilliant connection, as shown by the stats.

Son and Alli combined for 21 goals, and while that may not sound like many, that’s the second-most of any of Son’s teammates throughout his career.

At their best, these two were a joy to watch, but, sadly, all good things have to come to an end.

Alli left Spurs in 2022, while Son is still at the club. However, there have been calls for Son to be sold by Spurs this summer, so the Koreans time in north London may soon also be coming to an end.
