Tony Dorigo has admitted that he was really impressed with Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville for his performance against Liverpool yesterday.
Leeds finally ended their eight-game winless streak and lifted themselves out of the relegation zone.
It was the Whites first win at Anfield in more than 20 years, and they couldn’t have asked for a better start to the match.
Rodrigo Moreno pounced on a mistake from a Joe Gomez to slot the ball into the empty net after just four minutes.
Mohamed Salah quickly equalised, but the match was set up for someone to be a last-minute hero.

That happened to be Crysencio Summerville, who poked the ball past Alisson Becker in goal with just a few minutes left to play.
Summerville was immediately swarmed by his Leeds teammates as he scored arguably the most important goal of his career.
Dorigo admitted he was impressed with Summerville, and believes he’s got ‘great ability’.
Already this season he’s thought Summerville was getting better and better, and that certainly showed at Anfield yesterday.
Dorigo was impressed by Summerville yesterday
Speaking after the game, Dorigo said: “I think Crysencio Summerville, we’ve seen little cameos from him before, and we know he’s got great ability, he’s a young player as well.
“But for him to come on and do something like that, and how he played tonight was impressive as well.”
The young Dutchman wasn’t the only player who put in a fantastic performance yesterday.
Goalkeeper Illan Meslier was also fantastic, making nine saves to limit Liverpool to just a single goal.
Goalscorer Rodrigo also thought that midfielder Marc Roca was brilliant yesterday.

Summerville has been making regular cameos off the bench this season and has just broken into the starting line-up.
Back-to-back Premier League goals will make it difficult for Marsch to consider dropping him next weekend against Bournemouth.
Dorigo will be joined by a host of Leeds fans in being impressed with Summerville’s performance yesterday.
It could just be the breakout game he needs to become a regular in Jesse Marsch’s side.
