Manchester City legend Yaya Toure raved about Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in an interview with The Times this week.
The Ivorian was one of the best midfielders in the world during his time at the Etihad. He’s one of the biggest reasons why City were so successful over that period.
Toure is now trying to become a coach himself but he’s at the very early stages of his career. He often interacts with some of the most successful managers in the world to get some advice, and Klopp is one of them.
He has now lavished praise on the Liverpool boss.
Yaya Toure: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a top, top guy
The Ivorian said when asked about the Reds: “Liverpool are so, so strong.
“Klopp, when he wins games, I text him and he is delighted and he always invites me [to meet him] and texts me back.
“Does this guy rest? I don’t think so. He loves football.
“He’s a top, top, guy.”

Liverpool are now one of the best sides in world football and Klopp is the biggest reason why they are where they are.
At one point this season, it looked almost certain that Toure’s former club Manchester City would run away with the league.
However, Liverpool have pulled it back and they have a massive chance of pipping Pep Guardiola’s side for the title.
There’s still a bit of the international break still left which is, in a way, annoying. However, once the Premier League returns, it’s all about the business end of the season and Liverpool fans will be hoping they’ll be able to go all the way.
