Former Arsenal player David Seaman has now been discussing the progress of a player the club would reportedly like to sign.
Mikel Arteta’s side have now won five Premier League games in a row, proving they are serious title contenders.

A small wobble over the festive period has now been rectified, and more importantly, Arsenal now look full of goals once again.
Leandro Trossard has been a revelation as a false nine, and Kai Havertz is quietly becoming the heartbeat of Arteta’s attacking play – and we’ve not even mentioned Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal are in a really good spot, and look well prepared for a tough mid-week visit to FC Porto.
That being said, Arteta will surely already be putting plans in place to take his Arsenal project to the next step in the summer.
And perhaps Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Pedro Neto is a name high on the list.
Moreover, following his winning performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, David Seaman has now been discussing Neto’s rich ability and a possible move to Arsenal.
David Seaman loves Pedro Neto but isn’t sure on a move to Arsenal
Seaman was speaking on the ‘Seaman Says’ podcast and actually wasn’t sure that Neto would be the best signing for Arsenal despite his talent.
He said: “Neto, he broke from his own half, took it all the way and then squared it for [Joao] Gomes.
“Neto’s left foot is amazing and as we saw there it was just brilliant play from him.
“He’s a special player. The appreciation that Gomes showed for Neto was perfect.

“Where do we put his valuation? He’s only about 23, 24. He’s not old is he? So, he’s coming into the peak of his career, he’s not even getting there yet.
“But, you look at that and then you look at someone like Declan Rice, although Declan’s home-grown so that puts a few million on the price tag, but he’s got to be up in the 80s easily.
“Wolves are going to do well to keep hold of him at the end of the season, whether it’ll be Premier League I don’t know because he might even get tempted by one of the big clubs abroad.
“It’s tough because he’s a really special player.
“Would I take him at Arsenal? When you look at what’s in there already, you don’t really want to disrupt that.”
Neto is worth the disruption
Although there’s merit to Seaman’s words, Pedro Neto is surely a player who any top side would benefit from, hence the links to North London.
Arsenal do have excellent competition on the left with Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli, but not so much on the right.
Reiss Nelson is a talented player, but simply can’t deputise for Bukayo Saka were he to miss a run of games.
So although David Seaman isn’t certain that Neto should be in Arsenal’s plans, some fans will feel otherwise.
All that being said, it seems as if one ‘outstanding’ Arsenal midfielder is now set for an exit.
