Reported Liverpool target Darwin Nunez would jump at the chance to join the Reds, according to Portuguese journalist Nuno Dias.
The CMTV reporter also claims Benfica ‘already have the bid’ from Liverpool for their star striker.
Speculation linking the Anfield outfit with Nunez has intensified in recent days.

On Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano claimed Liverpool were preparing an official proposal for the Uruguayan.
This would be around €80million (£68.4million) plus add ons for a €100million (£85.5million) package.
Meanwhile, Gianluigi Longari has claimed that Liverpool have actually agreed personal terms for Nunez.
Dias, speaking on CMTV – via Sport Witness – has corroborated Romano’s claim about the proposed fee.
He also made the exciting claim about Nunez’s apparent stance towards a potential switch to Anfield.
“I have the information that Benfica already have the bid,” said Dias.
“The bid is already at (Estadio da) Luz, it’s indeed of 80m plus 20m.
“And the player would’ve already said he’d sign it tomorrow (if given the chance).”
There is plenty of exciting speculation coming from Portugal regarding Liverpool’s pursuit of Nunez.
Earlier on Wednesday, Record also wrote about the Reds’ reported big-money bid for the 22-year-old.
They also wrote that Jurgen Klopp is ‘crazy’ about the Uruguayan.
Little surprise really – he is one of the best young strikers in world football right now.
With Sadio Mane seemingly edging towards a departure from Liverpool, Nunez would be an incredible replacement.
