Harry Redknapp has told The Sun that Tottenham Hotspur should move heaven and earth to bring Giorgio Chiellini to North London, insisting that there would be no one better to improve their defence.
Antonio Conte is gearing up for his first Premier League game in charge of his new club. It comes after a victory over Vitesse highlighted the scale of the task ahead of the new Spurs boss.

Tottenham appeared to be cruising in their Conference League tie. They had gone 3-0 up during the first-half.
However, they would then concede twice to the Dutch side. And Cristian Romero would end up getting sent off for a second yellow card.
Romero has been a shining light at the back for Spurs so far this term. Meanwhile, those vying for his place have come in for plenty of criticism at various stages.
It does appear therefore, that Tottenham need at least one new defender in the coming windows.

And while Redknapp admitted that it is unlikely, he did suggest that Chiellini would be the ideal signing for Conte.
“Over the next few weeks, no doubt, we’ll see a list of the supposed big-name targets he wants when the transfer window opens,” he told The Sun.
“I doubt very much if 37-year-old Giorgio Chiellini will be on it but, for me, he’s the one man the new Spurs manager should move Heaven and Earth to bring to London with him.
“I know they’d hardly be signing someone for the long term, but in terms of sorting them out immediately, there would be no one better.”
Chiellini would be a fascinating signing for Tottenham
It is difficult to know what the Tottenham fanbase would make of a move for Chiellini. Of course, many will remember his comments after a Champions League meeting between Spurs and Juventus in 2016.
The centre-back suggested that Tottenham always fall short when it really matters after Juve knocked them out of the competition.
Having said that, he is a player Conte knows incredibly well. And as Redknapp suggests, he is someone who continues to make an impact at the highest level for club and country.
Some would definitely see it as a poor move given his age and his limitations.
But others may feel that it would indeed work well with what Tottenham are now trying to do.
