A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Cristian Romero after the defender’s display in their Premier League clash with West Ham on Sunday.
Spurs were beaten by the Hammers at the London Stadium. It was a game that saw plenty of bursts into the final third from both sides.

However, for the large part, neither side was able to find that decisive moment of quality.
Unfortunately for Tottenham, West Ham did score a winner with 18 minutes remaining with Michail Antonio reacting fastest to beat Harry Kane to an Aaron Cresswell corner for the goal.
It was a sickener for Nuno Espirito Santo, with Spurs needing a big performance after their result in midweek.

Some players did manage to do well despite the result. And one of those who did impress some of the Spurs fans on social media was Romero.
His partnership with Eric Dier appears to be improving each week. And Romero certainly looks to be finding his feet in the Premier League following his summer move.
The 23-year-old was excellent on the ball. He made a couple of exciting bursts forward, including one which nearly led to Harry Kane crossing to an unmarked Heung-min Son.

He also read the game superbly well. Romero made a number of interceptions. And he helped ensure that Antonio was not able to make much of an impact from open play.
