James Maddison seems to have won everyone over at Tottenham.
The midfielder’s talent has made him one of the most popular players at Spurs among the fanbase, while his infectious personality has made him one of the most popular players behind the scenes at the north London club too.
Indeed, you can already see that Maddison already gets on with his new teammates incredibly well, and it’s not just the current Spurs crop who seem to love the 26-year-old.
Speaking to ESPN, Harry Kane has been discussing some of his teammates who are the funniest and who would do well on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and he named Maddison as a player he thinks is very funny.

Kane says Maddison is hilarious
The England captain spoke about the Spurs star.
“Who’s the biggest prankster at Bayern and England?” Kane said.
“At Bayern I’d probably say Serge Gnabry, he’s welcomed me in the best way possible with a few pranks here and there, he’s a really good guy, he has a few jokes in him, and then probably someone like Madders, yeah, I’d probably put Madders in there he’s a bit cheeky like that yeah,” Kane said.
“Three teammates you’d like to see on I’m a Celebrity?”
“James Maddison, I think he’d be good value, I think he could (win) actually, he has a great personality,” Kane said.
Adapted easily
Of course, being a talented footballer is more important than being a comedian in this game, but the fact that Maddison is this type of character is why he’s adapted so easily to life at Spurs.
He’s that type of person who will take to any social situation like a duck to water, and that is so important when signing for a new club.
The background camaraderie and good dressing room environment has been so important to Spurs’ success so far this season, and it sounds as though Maddison has been vital to that.
