Some Leeds United fans have praised Conor Gallagher’s latest Premier League display, while also wishing they’d managed to sign him.
In July, football.london claimed that the Whites spoke with the Chelsea midfielder over a prospective loan move.
Leeds reportedly put together an impressive presentation to try to convince Gallagher to head to Elland Road.
Then, a report from 90Min claimed towards the end of July that the 21-year-old actually underwent a medical at Leeds.
However, the same report also claimed that Gallagher had agreed to join Crystal Palace on loan, which turned out to be the case.
The England Under-21 ace has impressed at Selhurst Park and was unplayable in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Spurs.
He was a constant thorn in the opposition’s side, won the penalty for Palace’s opening goal and set Odsonne Edouard up for his second.
