Tottenham Hotspur have made three additions so far this summer as Ange Postecoglou looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the top four.

Lucas Bergvall has joined from Swedish side Djurgarden and has already impressed many during pre-season.

Archie Gray has settled into life at Spurs quickly, too, having joined in a £40m switch from Championship outfit Leeds United.

The latest addition Yang Min-hyuk hasn’t yet made his debut – he’ll join the first-team squad in January – but Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is optimistic about his arrival.

Guglielmo Vicario says Yang Min-hyuk is a ‘good prospect’

Speaking to Hayters TV, Tottenham Hotspur’s Vicario was full of praise for new signing Yang Min-hyuk, who is considered one of the most talented youngsters in Asia.

“I think he’s a good player, a good prospect for our future,” the Italy international said.

“It’s great he chose to join us, so we are looking forward to having him in January. For the first month, you know you have to adapt from another culture to come to Europe is different.”

The 18-year-old will stay put at K League 1 outfit Gangwon FC until January, as Spurs evidently feel that’s the best for his development.

Yang Min-hyuk profile

TBR Football spoke exclusively to a South Korean football expert last month, who gave a great summary of what he’ll bring to Tottenham.

“If Yang Min-hyuk can be described in two words, it’s power and pace. Add adaptability, and he becomes a versatile asset for Tottenham’s attacking football,” Joel Kim said.

“At just 18, Yang brings incredible speed to the attack, running with youthful vigour. His surprising physical strength allows him to dominate veteran defenders in the K-League 1, Asia’s most physical league.

“His greatest asset might be his adaptability; like Son Heung-min, Yang is two-footed and can play on either the left or right wing. Comparisons to Anthony Gordon and Federico Chiesa highlight his potential.”
