Roy Keane has labelled James Maddison as a ‘good fit’ for Tottenham Hotspur.
James Maddison has excelled during his first campaign at Spurs after making the £40 million switch to north London last summer.
Despite missing 10 league games due to an ankle injury between November and January, Maddison has quickly established himself as the creative hub of this Spurs side.

The Englishman has racked up four goals and eight assists in 17 league appearances for Spurs.
Maddison has quickly established himself as a fan-favourite at Tottenham and recently admitted he’s glad he opted for a move to the club.
And Roy Keane feels Maddison made the right decision to join Spurs last summer.
Keane says Maddison is perfect for Tottenham
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane shared why he believes Maddison suits Tottenham.
“He’s a good fit for Spurs,” the Manchester United legend said. “His stats over the years are very good. He’s had injuries the last few months and it’s taken a little bit longer to get up to speed.
“He’s a talented boy and looks like a bit of a personality. I like the way he’s not settling for Spurs to be fourth or fifth, he wants to get into the Champions League and win a cup.”

Before Maddison even arrived at Spurs, he did seem like the kind of player who would suit the club.
Tottenham have had some fantastic midfielders over the years and Maddison certainly fits the bill as a creative player who will get the fans off their seats.
While it’s still early days in terms of his Spurs career, he’s won over the Tottenham fanbase already.
He looks set to play a key role in the Postecoglou project and the Aussie will be delighted to have him back in the side.
Maddison netted in the 4-0 win at Aston Villa yesterday, helping Spurs to a win which puts them right in the mix for a top-four finish.
