Former Everton and Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker has now been discussing which team he wants to win when the two face off.
Lineker played for three English sides in his career, with most of his appearances coming for Leicester City in the 70s and 80s before he then joined both Everton and Spurs either side of three years at Barcelona.

The striker enjoyed a decorated career, he’s an English legend for a reason.
And it has become clear that Lineker is a big Leicester fan since he’s been doing a lot of punditry work after his playing career.
However, fans may not be sure where his allegiances lie with the other teams he played for.
In fact, when Lineker was speaking on the ‘Rest is Football‘ podcast recently, the pundit was asked who he sided with when Everton and Spurs square off.
Of course, Sean Dyche’s side hosted Ange Postecoglou’s impressive Tottenham team on the weekend, resulting in a late 2-2 draw.
And when speaking on the podcast, Lineker stayed fairly partisan and admitted he was happy with the draw.
Gary Lineker says he’d prefer a draw when Tottenham face Everton these days
Lineker admitted that he still looks out for his old sides, saying he still has love for both.
He said: “Obviously I have an affinity towards my former clubs Everton and Tottenham, who played against each other.

“I had a couple of people text me and say you know when Everton play Tottenham who do you want to win.
“I genuinely don’t want either team to lose. So they drew yesterday so I was quite happy about that.”
Perhaps some Tottenham fans may be a little disappointed with that conclusion, after all, Lineker did more than double his Everton appearances in North London.
However, it’s clear that the pundit didn’t necessarily see it like that, he enjoyed excellent memories with all the sides mentioned.
Although perhaps Lineker would admit that Nagoya Grampus was his favourite team in Japan, there’s not too much competition in that incidence.
All that being said, Declan Rice has now been making some comments about Spurs after Arsenal’s win last night.
