Gary Lineker believes that Leicester City may have found another “gem” in the transfer market with their new signing Patson Data.
The Foxes played out an entertaining 3-3 pre-season draw with QPR on Saturday afternoon and it was one of the summer signings that left his mark on the game.
Daka, along with Boubakary Soumare and Ryan Bertrand, are the new faces added to the squad at the King Power Stadium so far.
22-year-old centre-forward Daka has thrown down an early marker with his second-half performance in the friendly match.
First of all, he was involved in the move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s goal. Secondly, he scored a superb goal himself with a calm left-footed finish. He sprinted in behind to get on the end of a through ball before netting. Finally, he earned the penalty for the Foxes that Kelechi Ihenacho converted to make it 3-3.
Lineker posted a six-word Twitter message after the game describing Daka as “another transfer gem for the Foxes”.

Patson Daka can keep great Leicester tradition
Leicester must be the envy of so many Premier League rivals because their transfer business for several years now has been elite.
It’s too early to say for definite, but perhaps Daka can follow in that tradition at the King Power.
His £23million signing from Red Bull Salzburg looks like great business on paper. He scored 68 goals in 125 appearances for the Austrian club.
It’s may be challenging for the quick Zambian striker adapting to the Premier League, but he can learn from one of the very best around in Jamie Vardy.
Daka’s pace, movement and finishing means Leicester fans are buzzing about him.
