Report: Tottenham to hold new meeting about transfer of 'incredible' player this week; loan deal a possibility
Tottenham midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele, could be set for pastures new again, with Galatasaray keen on signing the Frenchman on loan.
The Turkish side are known admirers of Ndombele and have made their interest known to Spurs in recent days. But according to Fanatik, initial talks didn’t go as hoped and now Galatasaray hope to set up a brand new meeting with Tottenham this week.
It’s suggested Spurs are reluctant to sanction yet another loan move for Ndombele and would prefer a permanent deal to be in place. However, given the Frenchman’s massive wages and having three years left on his current deal, that might be optimistic from Levy and Spurs.
Fanatik claims that Galatasaray are hopeful of doing business with Tottenham in some capacity. The Turkish side will be hoping that a loan move is possible, although Spurs could well ask for terms to be included on a future permanent switch as well.
Ndombele has had a rotten time of things since moving to Tottenham. Despite flashes of brilliance and being labelled by Declan Rice as being an ‘incredible’ talent, the French star just hasn’t got going. He did ok with Lyon last season, though, and there is interest from across Europe.
TBR’s View: Ndombele And Tottenham Need To End Things
It’s like a rocky relationship this that you know is destined to end in tears. Ndombele has just not done it for Tottenham and after spending so much money on a fee and wages, it must hurt Daniel Levy to see such failure.
However, there comes a time when everyone needs to bite the bullet and accept it’s time to move on. And that time has come.
Galatasaray are a huge club for Ndombele to move to in fairness. And if he can’t get going there with that crowd behind him, then there really might not be any hope for him.
