Arsenal have built one of the strongest squads in the Premier League, making the right decisions in the transfer market to help Mikel Arteta.

Now, with plenty of quality options at his disposal, it’s all about keeping the core of that squad together for the future.

That is a task that sporting director Andrea Berta has taken to quickly, working hard to ensure that key stars are rewarded at Arsenal.

With the squad now in a positive place for Mikel Arteta to work with, here’s a look at every player’s contract length and when they expire.

Arsenal contract expiry in 2026

The only player who has a contract that expires in 2026 for Arsenal is Piero Hincapie, who will see his loan from Bayer Leverkusen come to an end.

The defender does have a buy option included in the deal, however, which the Gunners are expected to take up.

If that happens, he looks set to sign a long-term contract with the club that will keep him well beyond 2026.

Which Arsenal contracts expire in 2027

Looking ahead to 2027, Arsenal do have five potential contract expiries within the squad.

Bukayo Saka is in talks over a new Arsenal contract, which could see him stay for many more years at the club.

Beyond him, there is Gabriel Martinelli, who has a one-year extension built into the deal that could take him to 2028, along with Christian Norgaard.

Forward duo Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard also have just under two years remaining on their contracts.

Arsenal contracts until 2028

As many as eight players are out of contract in 2028, putting potential pressure on awarding some new deals over the coming months.

Both Declan Rice and Ben White are in that group, though the pair do have an extra one-year option inserted into the deals.

Arsenal club captain Martin Odegaard is one of those who has under three years remaining on his deal, along with Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino.

The goalkeeping ranks may need addressing too, as both David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga are out of contract in 2028.

Which Arsenal contracts expire in 2029

Three Arsenal stars have contracts running until 2029, including summer signing Eberechi Eze, though he has an extra year option.

Defenders Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori also have deals for the next four years.

Arsenal contracts running until 2030

A large chunk of the Arsenal squad have deals that run until 2030, with seven stars under contract until then.

Cristhian Mosquera is the only one who could have a further year in his deal, taking him to 2031.

Beyond him, William Saliba’s new contract extension takes him until 2030, joined by Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, who signed new deals in 2025.

Summer signings Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke also signed five-year contracts.
