'Full pelt': Frank Lampard has a message for Tottenham and Antonio Conte, ahead of Arsenal clash
Everton manager, Frank Lampard, has insisted that his team will be going ‘full pelt’ to try and beat Arsenal, which will be music to Tottenham’s ears.
The Toffees secured their Premier League status with a dramatic 3-2 win against Crystal Palace in midweek. Dominic Calvert-Lewin was the hero as he headed in to send Goodison Park into raptures after that win.
Of course, there is a battle for fourth spot going on this weekend between Arsenal and Tottenham, and Everton can play a crucial role in which way that eventually falls. Arsenal need to beat Everton and hope Norwich win against Spurs, which everyone is assuming is not going to happen.

Arsenal are also expected to see off Everton. However, while Lampard says his players can relax a bit more, he insists that they’ll be going all out to win against the Gunners.
“I will (relax a little bit more). I don’t mean that in a light-hearted way because I understand Arsenal and Tottenham are in a battle. We will go and do our absolute best to approach the game in the right way, but at the same time we haven’t had that luxury since I arrived,” Lampard said.
“It will be nice for the players. Some of the players who might not have had a chance might get an opportunity but we’ll be going full pelt to get a result as well.”
TBR’s View: Everton Can Ease Off But Important Still To Beat Arsenal
Lampard isn’t even denying it here. He admits his team and he will be more relaxed but at the same time, he’ll surely want to pick up a win on the final day.
It’s important the Toffees go into next season with a good feeling around the place. Winning at Arsenal will help that good feeling and, of course, help Tottenham.
