‘First-team regular soon’: Some Spurs fans wowed by ‘incredible’ striker’s U18s display today

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have praised Dane Scarlett after the Spurs academy striker delivered another masterclass for the Under-18s.

The 16-year-old is one of the most highly rated youngsters at Hotspur Way and has been in sensational form this season.

Despite his young age, he already has three competitive senior appearances under his belt, as well as an assist.

Scarlett has made 21 appearances this season at age and senior level, scoring 22 goals and registering five assists.

His latest contributions came in Saturday’s Under-18 Premier League hammering of Chelsea, with Spurs running out 6-1 winners over the West Londoners.

Dermi Lusala opened the scoring for Tottenham in the sixth minute before Scarlett tapped home in the 12th minute and Roshaun Mathurin netted with a free kick on 21 minutes.

Spurs led 3-0 at the break and, though Chelsea scored in the second half, Scarlett netted his second from the spot and Mathurin bagged a brace to seal a hat-trick.
