‘Fantastic’ Tottenham defender is about to leave today, it’s a ‘done deal’

Tottenham Hotspur star Eric Dier is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich today.

The Englishman has been out of favour at Spurs for a while now. Ange Postecoglou clearly doesn’t fancy him, and his Tottenham exit is likely to happen in the next few hours.

Tottenham’s Eric Dier to Bayern Munich is a done deal

Eric Dier has been at Tottenham Hotspur since the summer of 2014.

He was a regular for most of his time at Spurs, but since Ange Postecoglou arrived in the summer, he has barely been given an opportunity.

After Emerson Royal and Ben Davies started in central defence ahead of him, it became clear that Dier has no future at Tottenham.

It was only a matter of time before he would leave, and it looks like Bayern Munich are his next club. Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed this morning that it’s a ‘done deal’.

Dier is already in Munich to undergo his medical.

Plettenberg tweeted: “EXCLUSIVE News #Dier: DONE DEAL – He will join FC Bayern! He has already arrived in Munich NOW! Agreement between the clubs. Medical today.

Good news for Tottenham and Dier

The best solution for both parties – Tottenham and Dier – was to part ways this month, and it looks like it’s going to happen now.

The ‘fantastic‘ Englishman has been spotted in Munich, and all that’s left for this deal to go through is a medical, which is scheduled to take place in the coming hours.

Dier will be delighted with this move and so will Tottenham, who will not only get a small fee for him but will also get him off their wage bill.

We’re sure Harry Kane will be happy man as well because he was reportedly the driving force behind this deal.
