Eric Dier has been speaking to Tottenham Hotspur’s official website and says one player makes the whole team play better when he’s on form.
Spurs got back to winning ways yesterday as they thrashed Leicester City 6-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Heung-Min Son got back amongst the goals and stole the headlines as he bagged a hat-trick from the bench.
Dier also got on the scoresheet alongside Harry Kane, but it was the other scorer in Rodrigo Bentancur that the defender has heaped praise on.

Dier says Bentancur makes the whole team play better
“Rodri [Bentancur] is amazing man, fantastic player,” Dier said.
“I think we play well when he plays well. I think it’s the biggest compliment I can give him.
“When he plays like he did in the second-half, we’re such a good team with him. Because he offers so much defensively and then with the ball he’s got so much quality.
“A lot of personality as well to play and to play in tight spaces. Really happy for him and yeah Sonny [Heung-Min Son] steals it because he gets three goals like he did [smiles]. For me, Rodri was fantastic today.”

Bentancur put in a brilliant shift from central midfield yesterday and grabbed his first goal for Spurs in the second-half.
The 25-year-old won the ball back from Wilfred Ndidi and drove up the pitch before finishing calmly.
The Uruguayan also won the ball back for Son’s first goal of the game and pressured Brendan Rodgers’ men effectively in the second-half.
It certainly helped Spurs and Bentancur when Yves Bissouma was introduced in the second-half.
Playing with three central midfielders seemed to free Bentancur up to pose more of an attacking threat.
Conte will be delighted to get back to winning ways before the international break and after a disappointing night in Lisbon on Tuesday.
