Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi will be one of the big names to watch out for this summer when it comes to the transfer market.

Guehi’s impressive form has seen a whole host of top clubs register an interest in signing him.

Reports have claimed Liverpool would love to make Guehi one of their first signings when Jurgen Klopp leaves. Tottenham are also believed to be considering making an offer for the England man, while Arsenal have also taken a look at Guehi as well.

And according to GiveMeSport’s Dean Jones, the Palace defender is indeed open to moving on.

Writing for GMS, Jones has confirmed that Guehi is ready to consider his options in the summer, with all the top clubs in England among the teams chasing him.

“Guehi will be chased down by five of the division’s biggest clubs – Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man United and Chelsea. The player is seriously ready to consider a move, sources told GiveMeSport, but Palace will hold out for as much cash as possible as they do not want him to go and value him highly,” Jones writes.

Quite who will win the race for Guehi, is anyone’s guess. At the moment, Palace want around £50m for their man, although reports of over £60m have also done the rounds.

Joe Cole has spoken highly of Guehi this season, admitting that he’s the sort of defender who goes unnoticed a lot of the time.

A top player

It would be a big surprise if Marc Guehi isn’t part of the England squad in the summer in all honesty.

Sure, he is playing for Palace who are struggling a bit but in the main, he has really stood out with his ‘fantastic‘ performances.

The likes of Tottenham and Man United could definitely do with a defender like Guehi. Whoever signs him, though, will be getting themselves a top defender.
