Manchester City are yet to reach a breakthrough on either Jack Grealish or Harry Kane, according to respected journalist, Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer guru has taken to Twitter to off his update on the situation today, amid reports Grealish is close to agreeing a deal.

Multiple reports surfaced today suggesting City had agreed terms with Villa for Grealish. However, as yet, there is nothing confirmed from either end.
And Romano has offered his take on the situation as it stands.
What’s been said?
This was always likely to rumble on this summer. Both Kane and Grealish are admired by Manchester City. Everyone knows that by now.
But Romano says that’s as far as it has got so far. He claims no bids have been accepted, and that Tottenham have even rejected a City offer for Kane.
Spurs are thought to value Kane at around the £150m mark. Grealish, meanwhile, is also said to be around the £100m figure.
City to land one, none, or both?
It seems highly unlikely that City will get Kane and Grealish. Unless there is some huge fire sale and Villa and Spurs buckle, it just won’t happen.
As it stands, Grealish seems the more likely. Media outlets seem to have reported more and more on it over the last few days.
As they say, there’s no smoke without fire. Grealish might well end up a City player in a few weeks. Kane, meanwhile, seems more likely to stay in London for the time being.
