'He wants a big revolution': Fabrizio Romano shares big update regarding Conte's future at Tottenham

The future of Antonio Conte and Tottenham is one of the hot topics already this summer and Fabrizio Romano has been giving the very latest on proceedings.

Conte has been excellent since he arrived at Spurs, pushing them onto the bring of Champions League qualification in just a matter of months. He got two new faces in Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur in January, and there is a belief that Conte can have success if he’s given more signings.

However, rumours continue to swirl around Conte and the PSG job. But speaking on his podcast today, well-respected journalist Romano issued what he knows about Conte and Spurs as things stand.

Arsene Wenger's Last 7 Arsenal Signings: Where Are They Now?

“Now Tottenham, they are really focussed on the present. They want the Champions League spot, they really want it. But, it’s very important to say that for Antonio Conte, the message he’s receiving from Tottenham board and Daniel Levy, is that they want to continue together. Tottenham will do their best to keep Antonio Conte,” Romano said on his Here We Go podcast.

“But, remember when Antonio goes into press conferences and says he wants to see the ambition, he wants to win. So this is the message from Conte. He wants a big revolution at Tottenham. He wants big players signed. Important players. They need four, five, six players, in Antonio’s opinion. There will be a meeting at the end of the season, and they will decide together.”

Conte is looking to push on as he did with Inter Milan. That means challenging for titles, something Spurs are a long way from doing at the moment.

TBR’s View: Tottenham Have To Spend To Keep Conte

Tottenham won’t ever get a better chance under a better manager than to go for it. They have two world class players on Son and Kane, and top manager in Conte, and in Cristian Romero, appear to have found the top central defender they craved.

It’s pretty much now or never for Daniel Levy and Tottenham.
