Winger wanted by Spurs and Arsenal now has huge Saudi offer instead

The transfer window seems to be bursting into life with less than a week to go and now the Saudis are also looking to flex their financial muscles.

The Saudi League has been a touch quieter this summer and for all the talk of major players being targeted, not too many big deals have happened.

The likes of Mo Salah and Heung-Min Son have been linked with big-money moves to the Middle East but as yet, they’ve not come off.

Ivan Toney is one player could wind up in Saudi after claims he has a big offer on the table.

And now, it looks like another potential Tottenham or Arsenal signing has a similar offer in front of him.

Kingsley Coman has big Saudi offer after being linked with Arsenal and Tottenham

According to German journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman is the latest player to have an offer from Saudi Arabia.

Reports from L’Equipe have said Coman has decided to leave Bayern.

And taking to X to share an update on Coman this evening, Falk has said the Frenchman has a ‘lucrative’ offer on the table and Bayern are prepared to sell.

Of course, it was claimed today that both Arsenal and Tottenham have held internal talks over signing Coman.

“For now, he’s settled, he has a new, young family, so his next move has to be right professionally and personally. I’m not sure about the Premier League links. It’s true that he’s been discussed internally by both Tottenham and Arsenal, but you have two other clubs as well, PSG and Barcelona,” journalist Ben Jacobs said.

Coman strengthens Arsenal and Tottenham

It can be so hard to get deals done this late in the window so when the idea of Coman came up for Arsenal and Tottenham, fans were probably excited.

The winger has everything in his locker really and has been lauded as an ‘excellent‘ player by Fabrizio Romano.

However, rejecting that big money from Saudi is tough for any player and in reality, it’s hard to imagine Spurs or Arsenal moving forward with this now.
