Ange Postecoglou has enjoyed a fantastic first 12 months at Tottenham.
The Australian has revolutionised this Spurs team, playing some incredible attacking football, and while results haven’t always gone Tottenham’s way, when everything clicks, they’re nigh on unbeatable.
Postecoglou has defied all expectations since arriving at Spurs, and he’s also sprung a few surprises in the transfer market.
Indeed, when Postecoglou first arrived, it was expected that he’d bring a number of his trusted Celtic stars with him as the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi were strongly linked.
However, Postecoglou is yet to sign anyone from his former club.
That being said, Spurs have been linked with one Celtic star this summer in the shape of Matt O’Riley. However, Spurs are far from being frontrunners for the player’s signature.

Leicester City are Premier League favourites for Matt O’Riley
There’s been plenty of speculation about Matt O’Riley this summer.
The Celtic star is said to have a number of teams interested in him, including Tottenham.
Now, according to TuttoSport, Juventus have entered the race, while a whole host of Premier League teams are also said to be keen.
Southampton and Brighton are credited with an interest in this report, but it’s claimed that Leicester City are leading the race to sign O’Riley within the Premier League as they look to replace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
O’Riley ideal for Leicester
Leicester City is the ideal move for O’Riley if he’s looking to make a name for himself in the Premier League.
After Dewsbury-Hall’s departure, there’s a spot open for the Denmark international in the middle of the park, and he’d suit that position perfectly.
Of course, a move to Tottenham would be much more grandiose, but given the amount of midfield depth Spurs already have, O’Riley would probably struggle for minutes in north London.
A move to the King Power Stadium could be a perfect transfer for the ‘excellent’ midfielder.
