Everton fans react as Ancelotti contacts Richarlison about Real Madrid move

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Goal this week claiming that Carlo Ancelotti has contacted Richarlison about a potential Real Madrid move.

Ancelotti, of course, upset a lot of Toffees fans by leaving the club earlier this summer. The Italian returned to the Spanish capital for a second spell with Los Blancos.

And it appears that he is keen to have a familiar face or two make the same journey.

According to Goal, Ancelotti is keen on Richarlison. And apparently, he has already spoken to him on the phone about Real’s interest.

It is noted that the interest is tentative at this stage. However, the initial talks could lead to a firm offer in the coming weeks.

It is going to have to be big money to tempt Everton into a sale. Certainly, for the supporters, only a fee that sees the Toffees make a huge profit would suffice.

Several have taken to social media to insist that Ancelotti will have to go big to land the 24-year-old, who cost £50 million when he arrived on Merseyside.

Anything in the region of £80 million seems to be a reasonable price for many for the £90,000-a-week star.
