A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports claiming that the Toffees hierarchy have Wayne Rooney on their radar should they decide to replace Rafa Benitez as manager.
Benitez looks to face an uncertain future at Goodison Park. Of course, his appointment was not met with universal praise with many Toffees fans not impressed with the Spaniard coming in.

A bright start to the Premier League season brought Benitez some time. However, they have endured a torrid run of late. And the atmosphere has turned somewhat toxic in recent times. They have only won one of their last 10 top-flight games.
Benitez remains in place. And The Sun has reported that Farhad Moshiri wants to give him a chance to turn his fortunes around and succeed.

Nevertheless, it does appear that the large majority of Everton fans are not too excited about the prospect of Rooney replacing Rafa.
