A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports this week claiming that the Toffees are planning to make a fresh offer for Nathan Patterson.
The Toffees attempted to sign the Rangers right-back during the summer. According to the Guardian, Everton failed to land the Scotland international after offering £9 million.

Rafa Benitez still needs a new right-back heading into the January transfer window. And The Guardian has suggested that a fresh move for Patterson is on the cards.
Patterson has continued to face a battle to get into the Rangers team this term. Of course, he is fighting with club captain James Tavernier for a spot in the side.

He has actually been used at left-back on a couple of occasions under Giovanni van Bronckhorst. But obviously, the news that Everton want Patterson again may leave the 20-year-old with plenty to ponder.
Certainly, plenty of Everton supporters would love to see the Gers starlet come in. They believe that an upgrade on Seamus Coleman is required sooner or later.
