Estevao Willian has been one of the Premier League’s breakout performers this season, and now Oscar has given the Chelsea forward some advice.

Estevao joined Chelsea during the summer, and despite there being little hype surrounding the move, he has turned out to be one of the big talking points during the early stages of this season.

The teenager has hit the ground running with some impressive individual performances, as his ability on the ball has proven high quality.

Enzo Maresca has likened him to Eden Hazard, while Joao Pedro believes Estevao can be one of the world’s best, showcasing how much he has impressed within Chelsea.

That has extended to former Chelsea players as well, with Oscar also watching the youngster.

Oscar believes Chelsea fans must give Estevao Willian ‘time to adapt’

John Obi Mikel has been a big advocate for Estevao this season, and he asked Oscar whether or not he believes he can be a future Ballon d’Or winner.

During the latest Obi One podcast, Oscar gave some advice to the young teenager, whom he sees plenty of potential in as a footballer.

“I think if he has the confidence, you know, he’s good. He has the dribble. He likes to score goals. He has the goal. And he has a lot of talent, a lot of talent.

“I think he just needs time, give him time to adapt to Europe. It’s not easy to arrive there and play. Give a little time.

“I think he’s going to one of the best teams in Europe, so let’s see what happens, especially in the next two or three years. But he has the talent, he really has it.”

There are many similarities between Oscar and Estevao, as the former was also a young and exciting Brazilian prospect when he first moved to Stamford Bridge.

Oscar went on to have a great career at the Blues before moving to China, and Estevao has already shown signs of being able to go down a similar path.

Carlo Ancelotti has been impressed by Estevao at Chelsea and Brazil

The winger isn’t just performing well at club level, as he has also taken full advantage of the opportunities handed to him on the international stage as well.

Estevao has played for Brazil seven times, and since taking charge of the team, Carlo Ancelotti has made him a key member.

He previously spoke to ESPN about the Chelsea star, making it clear that he sees big things in his future for the Blues and Brazil.

“I really like Estevao, he’s young, he has personality, character. He started well in the Premier League.

“Obviously, Estevao, not only for this World Cup, but for the future of the national team, will be a very, very important player.”
