Tottenham look set to be busy during the summer transfer window.
As ever, there are going to be ins and outs in north London throughout the summer window, and, by the sounds of it, Spurs could be in the market for a winger.
Spurs are apparently keen to bolster their wide positions this summer as they look to pivot Heung-Min Son to playing as a number nine on a more full-time basis.
As ever, due to their links with Fabio Paratici, Tottenham do have half an eye on Serie A, and they’re said to be interested in one of the Italian league’s top wingers.
Tottenham’s interest in Albert Gudmundsson
Spurs have recently been linked with a move for Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson.
The winger is said to have a pricetag of around £25m attached to him this summer, but, according to Fabrizio Romano, Genoa are open to the idea of a part-exchange deal for the Icelandic star.
Part-exchange deals are, of course, very rare in football, but on this occasion, Tottenham could be in a unique position to take advantage of this stance.

Djed Spence could help Tottenham sign Albert Gudmundsson
Tottenham may have the perfect swap-deal bait here in the shape of Djed Spence.
The right-back is already at Genoa on loan, and perhaps offering the Italian club the option to make that deal permanent in exchange for a bit of a discount on Gudmundsson could be smart business.
It’s already been said that Genoa are very happy with how Spence has been playing as of late, and it stands to logic to believe that the Italian club would want to extend his stay.
Tottenham reportedly don’t want Spence anymore, so why not use his current good form in Italy as a way to knock a few million off Gudmundsson’s asking price this summer?
This could be a win-win situation for all parties involved.
