Reported Leeds United target Ivan Toney has made it into Alan Shearer’s latest Premier League Team of the Week.
In July, there were reports claiming that Whites boss Jesse Marsch had set his sights on the Brentford striker.
As per The Sun, Marsch apparently views Toney as the perfect partner for Leeds striker Patrick Bamford.

As well as Leeds, Newcastle United have been linked with the 26-year-old.
Toney was hugely impressive during his first full year in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals for the Bees.
His performances played a key part in Thomas Frank’s men staying up in the top-flight.
And this season, Toney has registered one goal and two assists.
Last time out, the Englishman got both assists in the 4-0 hammering of Manchester United.
Brentford’s display meant four of their players, including Toney, made Shearer’s XI.
“Man Utd’s defence didn’t know how to handle him and he got two assists,” wrote the Premier League legend.
Leeds could do with more strength in depth up front amid more injury troubles in the Whites front line.
While Patrick Bamford is a top striker, he is once again on the sidelines, which means Marsch needs cover.
“A bigger goal threat”
Toney has shown he’s got what it takes in the Premier League, so he’d be a great shout for Leeds.
However, his price tag may prove somewhat prohibitive.
Dean Jones recently told The Football Terrace that Leeds – or any other suitors – would have to pay £50million.
“I was told if Brentford are going to sell Ivan Toney, he’s going to be £50 million,” said Jones.
“To be fair, I asked the person, how can he be worth £50million?
“And they were like ‘basically, Ollie Watkins left Brentford to join Aston Villa at a time when he had never even played Premier League football. And that was for £33million. He’s gone there and he’s done pretty well in the Premier League.
‘But actually, Toney has had his first season in the Premier League. He’s scored more goals than Watkins did last season. And he’s a bigger goal threat’.
“So he’s going to be at least £10million more than that, but probably towards £50million.”
