Tottenham Hotspur are starting to find a bit of form again.
After a fantastic start to the season, Spurs dipped after that disastrous game against Chelsea, but now, despite an ongoing injury crisis, they’re finding their feet again.
They’ve won four of their last five league games, and things are looking up.
However, as we say, there is still an injury crisis to deal with, and that means that Spurs are having to field something of a makeshift defence right now.
Somehow, Emerson Royal and Ben Davies have found themselves as Spurs’ two starting centre-backs right now, and speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Ian Wright has claimed that if he were playing against Spurs, he would absolutely target those two as an area of weakness.

Wright would target Emerson and Davies
The pundit shared his verdict on the two Spurs defenders.
“Having four full-backs at the back is a definite weakness. You have Emerson Royal and Ben Davies at the back, if I’m playing against them I’m putting all my force into putting them under pressure continuously,” Wright said.
Not much longer
Wright says that he’d target Emerson and Davies if he were playing against Spurs, but the reality is that we may not see this pairing again this season.
Tottenham appear to be closing in on Radu Dragusin as their first January signing at centre-back amid reports he’s agreed personal terms, while Micky van de Ven is expected back from injury imminently.
Davies and Emerson were undoubtedly an uncomfortable centre-back partnership, but they managed to see Spurs through this period, and now, with any luck, Tottenham appear to be coming out of the other end of it.
Spurs are still very much in the mix for a top four spot, and once all their star players return, they could kick on once again.
