Arsenal have just nine days remaining in the summer transfer market to get their business finished, and a lot has to be done.
Eddie Nketiah is in talks to join Nottingham Forest in a deal that could make the Gunners as much as £35m, whilst Arsenal are still pushing to sign Mikel Merino, who could soon become the north London side’s second arrival of the summer.
With Leicester City still interested in Reiss Nelson, a flurry of activity is expected from Arsenal between now and next Friday’s deadline, with Mikel Arteta keen to get the squad as perfect as possible before the window closes.
Yet Darren Bent has voiced his concern about one player potentially leaving Arsenal.

Bent says Aaron Ramsdale leaving Arsenal ‘would be a shame’
Speaking on TalkSport, Bent shared his view on Aaron Ramsdale potentially leaving Arsenal this summer, with the pundit believing the goalkeeper departing north London would be ‘a shame’ for supporters.
Wolves are in talks to sign Ramsdale with the England international last season losing his starting XI spot to David Raya, yet despite how logical a departure would be for the Arsenal man, Bent believes the 26-year-old deserves better.
Bent said when asked if Ramsdale needs to leave: “He does, and it would be a shame really. He has been brilliant for Arsenal since he got there, a lot of people questioned the price and why Arsenal went after him. Arteta did it and I thought he was brilliant in that first year. He is a top goalkeeper, I do.
“He could play for any of the big boys, of course, but they have all got their no. 1s, Ederson, Alisson, I fully understand that. But for him, personally, he needs to go somewhere and play week in week out. For a goalkeeper, it must be hard.”

Wolves move will be perfect for Ramsdale this summer
Arsenal were always going to struggle in finding a new permanent home for Ramsdale, with the shot-stopper signing a new long-term contract fairly recently having arrived for £30m back in 2021.
Yet a loan move to Wolves could be perfect for Ramsdale, where the England international could become the new no. 1 at Molineux under Gary O’Neil, a coach who could get the best out of the Arsenal man.
Whilst a permanent move is unlikely, a loan switch to Wolves is exactly what Ramsdale needs to show the world what he’s capable of, with the Arsenal keeper ready to show Arteta how good he really is.
