Tottenham duo Antonio Conte and Daniel Levy are said to have held some talks this week in the wake of the loss against Burnley and both sides have had their say on matters.

As we reported on TBR this morning already, Conte is said to have told the club he wants plans for the summer and, in particular, the transfer market, sorted immediately. The Italian wants to ensure there is no repeat of January, where both signings were done at the very last minute.

However, Daniel Levy and the club’s chiefs are also believed to have had an ask of Conte. We already know the club are keen for him to do interviews with the Italian media anymore. But according to Fabrizio Romano, Levy has also asked Conte to essentially calm down a bit post match.

“From Tottenham’s side they want to go together with him. But they want him to be more relaxed with less foolish reaction, this is why Conte has said sorry. But at the same time, he wants Tottenham to think with a winning mentality and push to think of the future,” Romano said on his YouTube.

Spurs take on Leeds this weekend looking to get back on track in the Premier League.

TBR’s View: Conte Won’t Change His Ways

Levy and Tottenham can ask all they want but Conte wears his heart on his sleeve and you feel we’ll see more of what we saw at Burnley before the season is done.

Conte just does not like losing. It’s that simple. And if he feels he isn’t getting the help he needs, then he’s shown he’ll make his feelings more than known.

Tottenham, then, simply have to go with it, or face up to losing yet another top manager.
