Leeds United have made good progress on the transfer front this summer, making three signings so far.
Earlier this week, Leeds United announced that Sebastiaan Bornauw has joined the Premier League newcomers on a four-year deal for a fee of £5.1million.
The 26-year-old is the third signing made by Leeds this summer, following the arrivals of Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol.
Leeds have also been busy on the outgoings front, with a number of confirmed departures and a few more expected.
It has now been reported that one player on Leeds’ books previously made Daniel Farke “angry”, resulting in him no longer having a future at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke was ‘angry’ with Leeds defender Maximilian Wober
Leeds are expected to part company with Maximilian Wober this summer, with reports claiming the Whites are in talks with Werder Bremen over his signature.
Austrian journalist Peter Linden has now spoken about Wober’s seemingly imminent departure and how it has come about.
Writing on his website, Linden claimed that Farke was left ‘angry’ with Wober after he left Elland Road on loan after their relegation to the Championship in 2023.
The Leeds boss wanted the defender to stay and help the Yorkshire side win promotion, but instead he headed to Borussia Monchengladbach on loan.
Wober returned to Leeds the following season as the deal wasn’t made permanent, but he made just nine appearances for a total of less than 400 minutes.
Now that Leeds have secured promotion back to the Premier League, Farke seemingly wants Wober gone permanently – and the player is aware of this.
Wober, who cost Leeds a reported £11million in 2023, could potentially be sold for just £3.5million, according to Linden.
The Whites are now eyeing a new goalkeeper, with Lucas Perri on Leeds’ radar.
TBR Football understand Leeds are also looking at Djordje Petrovic of Chelsea in their hunt for a new goalkeeper.
What Maximilian Wober has already said about his Leeds future
On 7 June, Wober started for Austria in their 2-1 win over Romania in World Cup qualifying.
Speaking to the Austrian press after the game, he admitted that he had no future at Elland Road.
“Leeds have already made it clear to me that they want to sell me,” Wober said to Krone after the match.
“I might have been able to send out a letter of application [with his display].
“I was extremely pleased that I was able to show other clubs that I’m fit, that I’m still a really good player, and that I don’t want to just rot away in England.”
