Newcastle United are set to announce another signing it seems, with Brighton defender Dan Burn having arrived on Tyneside to complete his medical and pen terms with the club.

Burn has been tracked by Newcastle throughout the window and will offer Eddie Howe some much-needed experience and quality down the left of his defence. Capable both at centre-half and left-back, Burn will sign for Newcastle for a fee of around £13m, as we reported over the weekend.
The Brighton man has been tempted by the project and money on offer at St James’ Park it seems. And now, he has been seen arriving at the club to complete his medical, as shown on Twitter by Sky Sports reporter, Keith Downie.
Newcastle have had a busy day on deadline day to say the least. A number of moves remain in the pipeline, including a potential late deal for Jesse Lingard from Manchester United.
However, a deal to bring Hugo Ekitike in from Reims appears off.
TBR’s View: Burn A Fine Signing For Newcastle
Dan Burn has enjoyed a great rise in recent years and while he might not be a standout name, he is everything Newcastle United need right now.
He brings balance and experience to a key position. Further, it also weakens a relegation rival. All in all, this is good business for the Magpies. Branded ‘incredible’ by Graham Potter, Burn ticks so many boxes for Eddie Howe.
