Despite several senior players leaving Crystal Palace last summer, Patrick Vieira has had a very impressive maiden campaign at Selhurst Park.
The Frenchmen guided the Eagles to a 12th-place finish in the Premier League and reached the FA Cup semi-finals upon taking his first senior managerial role in English football.

The former Arsenal captain has significantly reduced the age of the squad and has signed some talented young players.
With a second summer transfer window upon Vieira and several senior players looking set to leave the club as free agents once again, the south London side are likely are likely to be active in the market.

Sam Johnstone

According to London News Online, Palace are closing in on the signing of three-time England international Johnstone.
The 29-year-old is available on a free transfer this summer following his contract expiring at West Bromwich Albion.
The former Manchester United youngster has previously had one full season in the Premier League, but with Johnstone having aspirations of gaining a place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad, first-team football will be crucial and it looks he could oust Vicente Guaita and become Vieira’s number one.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The 24-year-old’s £50m move to Manchester United just hasn’t worked out and with Erik ten Hag taking the reins at Old Trafford, Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a season-long loan back at Selhurst Park.
United’s number 29 hasn’t kicked on as one would have hoped and a move back to familiar surroundings may help him restore confidence and form.
With Ten Hag being an attack-minded coach, it’s hard to see a way back for Wan-Bissaka, who has regressed this season, at the Theatre of Dreams.
A permanent move away from M16 cannot be ruled out.
Levi Colwill

Following the success of Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher, could Palace be targeting another raid on Chelsea?
According to the Express, Crystal Palace will scout Colwill in the Championship play-off final today between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest at Wembley.
With the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen set to depart Stamford Bridge as free agents, and following Guehi’s success at Palace, the Blues aren’t likely to make the same mistake and sell Colwill on a permanent deal.
But a season-long loan with the Eagles could be a possibility for the England Under-21 international who has made 31 appearances for the Terriers.
Marc Guéhi

The £18million signing from Chelsea was named Palace’s Players’ Player of the Year in what was a tremendous season for the young centre-back.
Guehi’s club performances saw him rewarded with an England debut, but Palace may well have to ward off interest from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham to retain the 21-year-old.
The Mail report that Spurs are interested in signing the former Chelsea youngster, but Palace will fancy their chances of keeping Guehi who has a contract until 2026.
Tyrick Mitchell

Yet another Palace player whose impressive club performances were rewarded with an England debut.
Mitchell started 35 Premier League games this season and at the age of 22, Vieira will be hoping the youngster continues to improve year on year.
With the World Cup less than six months away, Mitchell will be hoping to hit the ground running at the start of next season and impress Southgate.
Cheick Doucoure

The Sun report that Crystal Palace are closing in on a £15million deal to sign Doucoure this summer.
The 22-year-old Malian international scored one goal and laid on four assists from 34 Ligue 1 games for Lens last season.
With Vieria keen to land a midfield enforcer, Doucoure seems to be the man who could be heading to Selhurst Park and the Eagles may have gazumped Aston Villa to sign the talented box-to-box African.
James Garner

While signing Gallagher on a permanent deal would be the ideal scenario, Chelsea are highly unlikely to let the England international leave this summer.
The Eagles could then switch their attentions to a fellow England youngster whose career seems to be following a similar trajectory to that of Gallagher’s.
Garner has scored four goals and provided ten assists for promotion chasers Nottingham Forest this season and several Premier League clubs will be monitoring his situation this summer.
But if Ten Hag decides that the England Under-21 international should spend a season on loan at a Premier League club – Selhurst Park could be the ideal venue for him to flourish.
Michael Olise

The France Under-21 international’s first season at Selhurst Park has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, and with the former Reading youngster reportedly having a £35m release clause, the winger could be subject of enquiries this summer.
The talented left footer scored four goals and laid on eight assists this season, but like several other young Palace starlets, Olise would be better served building more experience and developing under the tutelage of his compatriot Vieira.
Eberechi Eze

The talented attacking midfielder has been linked with a big-money move to Newcastle United this summer, but Palace aren’t likely going to want to part ways with any of their talented prospects.
After recovering from a Achilles tendon injury which curtailed his chances of gaining a place in Southgate’s European Championship’s squad, Eze will be keen to get back to producing his best form.
The former Queens Park Rangers man scored four goals and provided six assists in his first season in the top-flight.
Ismaïla Sarr

According to Jeunes Footeux, Palace have joined the likes of Everton, Liverpool and Newcastle in the race to sign Sarr.
The African Cup of Nations winner who is Watford’s club-record signing isn’t likely to spend a second season in the Championship following the Hornets’ relegation.
The Vicarage Road side are likely to cash in on the speedy Senegalese winger, and Palace like many other clubs will be hoping to sign the talented 24-year-old for a cut price from the £25m Watford paid to Rennes.
Wilfried Zaha

The final player in Crystal Palace’s potential 2022/23 starting XI is undoubtedly the club’s main man – Zaha.
At the age of 29, the Ivorian’s days of a big money move look to be dwindling with every passing window although he is out of contract next summer.
But after scoring a personal best 14 Premier League goals last year, Vieira could play Zaha through the middle to accommodate his other talented forwards.
Palace’s frightening forward four could all interchange positions and that would allow Zaha to operate a free role to roam at will and conjure up magic.
