Crysencio Summerville reacts to Leeds U23 win on Instagam; Kalvin Phillips and Gelhardt reply

Leeds United fans would be forgiven for hoping that Kalvin Phillips replying to Crysencio Summerville’s latest Instagram post is a sign that more within the first-team fold are taking notice of the teenage winger’s current form for the under-23s.

Summerville has been devastatingly good for Mark Jackson’s side in recent weeks. And his latest masterclass came on Sunday as the Whites beat Middlesbrough 4-2.

The 19-year-old did not get onto the scoresheet, but he did secure a hat-trick of his own, setting up three of the goals as Leeds ran riot in the first-half.

Two of those assists came from a couple of superb bursts from the former Feyenoord man.

And his performance prompted plenty of Leeds fans to suggest that they have an incredible talent on their hands.

It appears that it was not only the supporters who were impressed. Summerville has since taken to Instagram to comment on the victory…

And there were a raft of responses from his teammates. Joe Gelhardt’s one-word reaction perhaps summed up how a lot of Leeds fans felt about the winger’s display.

But there was also a reply from Phillips, as well as from Joshua Zirkzee, who played alongside Summerville in the Netherlands before leaving for Bayern Munich in 2017.
