One Tottenham Hotspur player could soon receive an offer from Al-Nassr to join Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia this summer.
Spurs have a lot of work to do in this transfer window, and to be fair to them, they have been busy.
The North Londoners re-signed Timo Werner on another loan deal, while Tanguy Ndombele, Ivan Perisic, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon have all been pushed out of the door.
That, however, won’t be the end of Tottenham’s summer business.
Spurs are expected to offload a few more players in this window, and they could now receive a bid for one of them very soon.
What Al-Nassr are planning to do for Tottenham’s Emerson Royal
Al-Nassr are one of the biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia.
They have made some big moves over the last 18 months, the biggest of which is obviously the signing of Ronaldo on a free transfer from Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar isn’t the only big name in their squad. Al-Nassr also have Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles and David Ospina on their side.
The Saudi giants are expected to be very active again in this summer’s transfer window, and after having a bid rejected in January, Al-Nassr are set to return with an approach for Emerson Royal.
The Brazilian is expected by many to leave Spurs this summer, and reports have claimed that Emerson has already said yes to AC Milan.
However, the Italian giants have still not made their move to sign the right-back, and that could open the door for Al-Nassr to come in.
That’s according to Ben Jacobs, who has urged Tottenham fans to keep an eye on the Saudi club because they are considering making a bid for the Brazil international.
Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, Jacobs said: “I would also keep an eye on Saudi and Al Nassr who are considering making an approach.”
The journalist then claimed that Daniel Levy could secure a ‘bulk deal’ with sides in the Middle East, where he could sell more than one Tottenham player to clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Emerson, however, is the only name Jacobs revealed, and he claimed that it would be a shock if the ‘outstanding‘ Brazilian is still at Spurs beyond the end of the window.
“Keep an eye on Emerson and Al-Nassr if Milan falls through, and I think it will be a surprise if we get to the end of the window and Emerson is still a Spurs player.”

Tottenham are set to miss out on one right-back target
If Emerson does leave, Tottenham will have to bring in another right-back to compete with Pedro Porro next season.
The North Londoners have been linked with plenty of names over the last few weeks, and former Spurs star Kyle Walker-Peters was one of them.
However, it looks like Spurs could miss out on his signature.
Reports revealed on Friday that Walker-Peters could be on the move to West Ham United in a swap deal that would see Flynn Downes go to Southampton.
That is a shame as Walker-Peters could’ve offered cover in both full-back positions for Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham next season.
Now, it will be interesting to see who Spurs will go after to bolster those two areas of their pitch.
