Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe could receive offers from multiple clubs in the final days of the transfer window.
The Englishman came on as a substitute in the win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, and he looked really good. Arsenal fans are desperate for him to stay, but Romano has now revealed that the Gunners are open to letting him leave – but only on a permanent deal.

Fabrizio Romano says clubs could make late moves to sign Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe
Emile Smith Rowe is a fan favourite at Arsenal.
The reception he received when he came off the bench on Saturday was absolutely incredible, and it just shows how desperate Arsenal supporters are for him to succeed.
West Ham United have been keen to sign Smith Rowe on loan, but Fabrizio Romano revealed over the weekend that the Gunners rejected their approach.
Now, the same journalist has claimed that Arsenal are actually open to letting Smith Rowe leave – but only on a permanent deal.
Romano said on The Daily Briefing: “It’s a concrete possibility to see Emile Smith Rowe approached by clubs before the end of January.
“My feeling is that it is going to be complicated for him to leave because Arsenal are only open to a permanent transfer for the right price – a loan makes no sense, and also Mikel Arteta is very happy with the player and he’s happy at Arsenal.
“If they receive an important proposal it could be a possibility but otherwise I see him staying at Arsenal in this transfer window.
“We know West Ham previously showed an interest in signing Smith Rowe on loan, but now there is nothing happening there and they’re focusing on Kalvin Phillips, with that deal progressing.”

Smith Rowe can still become an Arsenal star
It is understandable why clubs are circling around Emile Smith Rowe – the Arsenal midfielder has barely played over the last 18 months.
However, it would be silly to let him leave in the coming days.
The Englishman showed on Saturday that he can still be a very important part of the squad. Some even claimed he did more in 20 minutes than Kai Havertz managed to do in nearly 70.
We truly believe Smith Rowe has what it takes to become a key player for Arsenal. All he needs is regular game time, and he’ll be hoping Mikel Arteta will give him those chances in the coming months.
