Chelsea are lining up a bid for Borussia Monchengladbach winger Jonas Hofmann, according to a report by German outlet Kicker.
The 28-year-old will have just two years to run on his contract in the summer and Tottenham are keen too.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel knows all about the forward having managed him at Borussia Dortmund.
He’s also on the back of a fine season in Germany, scoring eight goals and registering 13 assists to the Monchengladbach cause.

Hofmann has showcased a versatile nature this season. He has played on both flanks, as a No.10 and also as a central midfielder.
Tuchel clearly trusts the Germany international and wants to take him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The report claims that Hofmann could be available at a bargain price too. Kicker suggests £13 million might be enough to prise him away from his current club.
Following news of this potential deal supporters have been reacting over on Twitter.
Some are in no doubt that he’d improve the current squad and would dearly like to see him at Stamford Bridge.
Some other supporters are less than convinced by the news.
It is anticipated that he doesn’t have the required quality to improve the squad.
Chelsea could perhaps do with more options in the final third but many think they shouldn’t pursue Hofmann.
Here is what some of the more pessimistic supporters had to say on Twitter.
Chelsea could benefit from Hofmann deal
Regardless of what the supporters think, they simply have to trust Tuchel.
He’s a proven manager and has got the Blues to a Champions League final after just a few months in charge.

If he thinks Hofmann is capable of making Chelsea tick in the final third then that should be gospel for the fan base.
At £15 million he would be a low-risk signing and as a result, the Blues could certainly do a lot worse than signing the German this summer.
