Cesc Fabregas has heaped praise on Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund and compared him to club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The young Danish striker has been fantastic for the Red Devils in recent weeks. He is proving all his doubters wrong and has shown that he can be an absolute superstar for Manchester United in the coming years.

Cesc Fabregas compares Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund to Ruud van Nistelrooy
Manchester United signed Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta in a £72 million deal last summer (Sky Sports).
The Denmark international, who turned 21 just a few weeks ago, really struggled to get going at the start of his career in the Premier League.
Hojlund scored five times in six Champions League games, but he didn’t score a single goal in his first 14 Premier League appearances. That led to a ton of criticism, some of which was over the top.
However, since the game against Aston Villa on Boxing Day, Hojlund has been unstoppable. He has scored in every single Premier League fixture this year, which is just extraordinary.
Cesc Fabregas, who has shared the pitch with elite forwards like Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry in the past, seems impressed with Hojlund. He has compared the youngster’s finishing to that of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Spaniard said on BBC’s Planet Premier League: “He attacks the box really well, he is very smart. He is a Van Nistlerooy-type finisher when he gets his confidence.
“I believe he can be a really top striker for United in the future.”

Rasmus Hojlund can become Manchester United’s Erling Haaland
Manchester United could’ve signed Erling Haaland a few years ago when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was at the helm, but they didn’t go through with the deal.
The Norwegian is now the best striker in the Premier League, and what’s more painful for the Red Devils is the fact that he plays for their biggest rivals.
Rasmus Hojlund is not on Haaland’s level yet, but the Dane has the potential to reach that level in the coming years. He has scored seven goals and provided two assists in his last six league games, which is an outrageous return for a 21-year-old.
Manchester United have a real gem on their hands, and we won’t be surprised at all if he leads them back to winning trophies in the coming years.
