Celtic fans want Hibs star signed, after impressing at Ibrox against Rangers
Kevin Nisbet scored against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon for Hibernian, and while Hibs lost – Celtic fans really want Nisbet signed.
Celtic edged past Aberdeen on Sunday at Pittodrie, but the lack of talismanic striker was more than obvious throughout the 90 minutes.
Kyogo Furuhashi got his eighth goal in 11 games for Celtic. But the Japan international is hardly a number nine – he struggles to hold it up.
Celtic need a big striker, one with a bit of physicality that can help them keep the ball up the other end and bring the attacking midfielders into play.
Ange Postecoglou will be hoping Giorgos Giakoumakis can be that man, after he topped last season’s Eredivisie goalscoring rankings for VVV-Venlo.
But he is yet to get going yet, with injury hampering his progress. As for Albian Ajeti, many have already lost faith in the Switzerland international.
At Ibrox, Scotland international Nisbet scored his fourth goal of the season against Rangers. It comes after 18 goals and eight assists last season.

The Daily Record say both Old Firm clubs were looking at Nisbet in the summer. The Mail say Hibs rate Nisbet at around £4million.
So, Celtic are desperate for Nisbet to be signed with the January window approaching – as the Hoops sit in a slowly sixth place in the league.
Many feel he would add a bit of bite to Celtic’s attack following the loss of Odsonne Edouard. One fan suggests a swap, and many have responded.
